My journey into the hair industry began when I was just a teenager, somewhere around 15 years old. After a good amount of trial and error, I taught myself how to cut my own hair. Not long after I would be giving all of my buddies haircuts out of my mom’s garage. I loved being able to create, and at the same time make somebody feel good about themselves. This is what sparked my passion for what would later become my career.

After attending beauty school, I continued to seek further education by apprenticing under a  successful local stylist who was known for his balayage techniques. I was fascinated by the new trend, and I wanted to educate myself on the various techniques that were being practiced by the biggest names in the game. From there, I started taking more advanced classes for color and cutting and attending seminars. I surrounded myself with people who shared my passion for the craft. For the past 11 years I have been building my business and implementing the creative techniques I have picked up along the way.

Living in Santa Cruz and being an avid surfer, I have gravitated towards hair that is influenced by the area. Beachy balayage highlights with dimension, depth, and natural tones that have a sun-kissed glow. And now that I’m back home in Sonoma County, I am bringing it here.

I am a hairstylist who takes pride in the quality and detail of my work. I am passionate about what I create, and I always want to find ways to improve. I strive to give all of my clients a custom look that is tailored to their desires and needs. Seeing how happy and confident you can make somebody by giving them a new look is an amazing feeling and I feel very fortunate to have this as my career.
